More like I sold my old iPhone for 400, and then paid 125 for a better video recorder, faster speeds, better battery, and turn by turn GPS.

Apparently the 3GS has twice the RAM, which is very appealing to me.
Except I won't even think about upgrading until it can be jailbroken and Installous works (same reasons I won't upgrade to 3.0)

I've had my phone for two years about now, and the thing is crap. I've basically been waiting for an iPhone with 3G (happened a while ago!) and 32GB, and that finally happened, so I took the plunge. I'm still not sure if I'm going to jailbreak, but it sounds pretty appealing. Warranty does, though, too...
