I have no problem with AT&T when, there's a discount included on my plan. I wouldn't be getting this if the discount weren't there.
 
I'll wait another year or two when a new iPhone gets released.
 
Apparently the 3GS has twice the RAM, which is very appealing to me.
Except I won't even think about upgrading until it can be jailbroken and Installous works (same reasons I won't upgrade to 3.0)
 
I've had my phone for two years about now, and the thing is crap. I've basically been waiting for an iPhone with 3G (happened a while ago!) and 32GB, and that finally happened, so I took the plunge. I'm still not sure if I'm going to jailbreak, but it sounds pretty appealing. Warranty does, though, too...

If you screw up your iPhone, it can be restored to the official firmware. Just don't give it to Apple with a jailbroken firmware.
