Yeah it would help a good bit. Nothing comes close to the RPD in WaW, it sucks.

I think they should have just made up alternative guns in WAW, that matched COD4 ones.

They've had to keep them all real, so its restricted them. Its not like they've tried to make a 100% authentic game. Aperture sights didn't exist then.

I don't think they changed weapons that much for the games that followed the WWII storyline.

I think the countdown has to do with the story line. I believe that the ending of COD4 (level - PROLOGUE) will be the continuation for the next story. Save the President..then save the world.

Will most likely be using an updated engine. I still don't see how people found WAW an attractive or good looking game :/ The graphics from COD4 > COD5 in my opinion. I'm just a fan for the modern warfare aspect of the game too, something I've hated about previous COD games (we've played every world war, used every gun at least 5 times over...it's getting old). I can't wait to get my hands on this game as I've been playing some COD4 recently and just love almost every aspect of the game (I have no solid complaints about it or how it was developed)
