Sent an email requesting an exchange for the right phone, but I'd probably have to fedex it back to the UK and chances are I'd have to pay for a priority post back to Ireland as well. From a cost POV, that's very, very inconvenient. I dunno if I could get them to cover cost as it's their fault though.

You'd likely have to pay to send the G800 back but it would be down to them to ship the correct phone to you. Just get in contact with them, they might offer to reimburse you postage for sending it back after they've received it from you.

Asus really do package their gear really nicely. My 4850 was really nice and slickly packaged as well.

It's a simple Visual Basic game. Though it must have taken some time, I'm not incredibly impressed. I've seen some clever stuff come out of VB, but the graphics and gameplay of this are very simple.

It's a Packard Bell iMedia. I'd heard loads of bad stuff about Packard Bell from friends, but I'm on it now and it's win.
And I can't be bothered going into town to get a new desk, this is my first proper PC. I've had too much trouble with laptops

Decent specs apart from the graphics card, but you should be able to upgrade that easily assuming the PSU inside is decent. The one year warranty is a bit worrying also, but if you got it for a good price, then it's a decent deal. Thing I like about building my own is that almost all the parts come with lifetime or at least 3 year warranty.

I had that same old pair of Creative surround sound speakers as well!
What sound card do you have in your PC to get surround sound over coax?

It's built into the motherboard. Shuttle SX48P2E
Also has optical but the speakers only have 1 optical input which is used for PS3.
Rate my new headphones. Going to write up a review at some point in the next day or two.
