The Slim version didn't work on my TA-088v3. Judging by others in this thread I think it's safe to say that the exploit just doesn't work on this motherboard.

Awesome work though, MaTiAz :>

Hold on dude! There were some people saying that it works on 5.03 firmware. So as I know 5.03 firmware has TA88v3. Tell us what is your firmware? Maybe you need to upgrade your PSP?
Sorry for my English:huh:

i have a 3k and it s working ( psp 3004 / ta-090v2)

By working do you mean it actually shows the Hello Word? If so how many times did you have to try before it worked and when it did not work did it just lock up the PSP and turn off? And are you using the Slim TIFF from v2 or the old PHAT one? Thanks.

Also, I have a 3001 and it freezes in various ways. Sometimes with the Mem Card light staying lit and then "popping" when it turns off. Sometimes no light and just a "quiet" shutdown. I dont know what MoBo I have, its a Ratchet and Clank one if that helps any in figuring out the MoBo.

Some guy just posted on the Dark Alex forums that he upgraded to 5.03 and it did not work. I'm thinking those that said their mobo was TA-088v3 actually have a different motherboard and don't know it. Who knows, I might be wrong too :P

Also, your English is better than a lot of English speakers ;)

I believe to this exploit is working, but never for me - PSP Phat 5.00 M33-6 - everytime if i enter to Photo on MS PSP only hangs - i think this have something with memory card - i run this from Sandisk 2GB.

Keep on trying. In the 2.71 TIFF exploit I had to try multiple times to get it to start, around 40. The only way a memory card would effect it would be if it was fake. You can check that by seeing if it says 'Magicgate supported' when you go to the information screen for the memory card.

Maybe not. because you're wrong. I've got TA-088v3, otherwise i would never been here (and maybe some other guys), and i've tested it with the 88v3id relased by DAX. And also it is sad that it is SURE that it works on 5.03 OFW, on other versions MAY work, that's all. And also i've posted a guide some posts ago when i told how can you test it (and if i redo those steps again it function 100% sure, on first try). Again i know my psp and i'm sure that you maybe don't have the latest firmware, but 5.02 who is known that FOR NOW is NOT working (or maybe it works, if you're lucky) :)

Hi!

I just registered here to try this new exploit on my psp-2004 with motherboard ta-088v3 and ofw 5.03, and it worked the first time i tried.

So I'm guessing that the version of the motherboard actually is irrelevant when using this exploit.

I'm running my exploit on a MicroSD with adapter for PSP (bought on ebay), and it is working perfectly ;)

That's good to hear. Back with the other exploits having a fake or uncontemporary stick (like you have) made it really difficult to get it to work.

I think he was joking or lying. This exploit was coded for the PSP-1000 and PSP-2000 (recently new exploit released). There is no way this will work on the PSP-3000 until a seperate TIFF exploit for PSP-3000 is relased to the public.

Take the feedback with a grain of salt , people will just want to reply for the sake of being involved , they may not neccaserily have 2000,3000 PSP's at all.

Personally, it seems prudent to wait and believe this until the original creator confirms it or until you yourself can get it working. If the videos are real thats great but the reality is on the internet and for some reason especially in the PSP scene, there are a lot of lamers who just want to create fake vids.

I don't get it! This exploid is working on ta88v3?

Some have said it works, some haven't. It seems that ones with OFW 5.03 have been the only ones to have success with the TA-088v3. I'd update myself, but I don't want to update without any proof that that will make the exploit work.
