With a possible future ISO Loader (in EBOOT form) ported to 5.03 kernel, you will be able to play your [legal backed up] ISO, just you will need a UMD inserted at all times while playing the game.

I assure you I have absolutely no intention of adding ISO/CSO loading at any stage of HEN. HEN will have next to no features of M33 except patching the firmware for homebrew. My initial idea was to load the M33 firmware and modify but I couldn't get into contact with M33 for permissions to use their modules as of such I am using my own reverses.

To everyone begging their asses off for ISO support you can easily forget it. Even if I was to add it, about 50% of M33 is for ISO support and frankly I cannot be assed reversing that just to feed the pirates and the minority who actually use it for personal backups. I also believe you people are being incredibly ungrateful about there being no ISO support. For one, I have a homebrew enabled PSP 1000, I have no 2000 or a 3000. I should be technically studying for my exams but I still take the time to create this HEN for you folks. I think you need to take your time and realise what you're saying.

Off-Topic: I appreciate the Russian, barely used that language. :)

On-Topic:
The OE No-UMD mode used OE modules to do that though. The USB ISO Loader still won't work on HEN because it cannot access OE or M33 modules.

That is why I mentioned a seperate ISO Loader for Version 5.03, that is an EBOOT that loads backups (like the way Devhook does), and patches the 5.03 core in RAM to allow the ISO to played with the UMD inserted.

Davee is right people. We should be happy that an exploit if found for 3000 and a hen is coming this tuesday! :D

We can worry about ISOs Later.. ;)

Davee , please ignore their asses . I wanted an iso loader to play legal back ups too but i can respect your decision and the logic behiind it , you don't owe it to anyone to release this HEN but the fact that you have means alot to me and many others.

anyone that hasn't/doesn't respect his decision should make their own HEN...oh wait.
 
I honestly do not care whether an ISO Loader is released or not.
I am on Davee's side on the stance against piracy.

I only posted about ISOs to inform that USB ISO Loader won't work on the 5.03 core, so I am not one of those who is in desperate need of an ISO Loader for the 5.03 HEN.

If people want to load their own ISOs so badly, they should learn how to program / code and make their own ISO Loader. :laugh:
 
hey can anyone give me some infos about the HEN (no I dont wanna know if it runs iso. lol)?

When the HEN is released do you know if we can use the homebrews already available for the other psps or do we have to w8 for new apps made specially for the 3k??

BTW any good HW that you recomend??

And do you have any ideias for some new apps using the microfone or something of the 3k??

Sorry to bother you yet again. Regarding HEN, reading from page 1, information I have is that we will have to turn off our PSPs everytime we want to enable homebrew. Now the question is, how stable is HEN going to be in terms of launching from PSP menu?

Well, you'll run the tiff exploit and HEN will automatically reboot the psp into a homebrew enabled one. The PSP will be in a homebrew state until you fully power down the PSP. In which case you'll have to run the tiff exploit again.

Well, im not at all thinking about the ISO's...

Would be great if it had, so I could play some oldies PSX at my PSP, but if I could run some apps it would be already great for us.

Ppl should be more thankful for 3rd party jobs, since they are only complaining all the time about things other ppl do... Well, whatever, ppl R like shit sometimes...

Hope everythink run smoth to the developers scene, sine they are working pretty hard...

Wow..awesome..kudos to u m8. Just an apology for being one of those who wanted ISO support for backing up legit UMDs but it doesn't matter anymore so thanks for giving this to us regardless and keep up the good work. :)

P.S. Will this be able to run DAX's TA-88v3 identifier without a PB?
 
Oh, people! We cancopy whole contents of flash0 to ms0:/m33-modules and then in the USB ISO LOADER in hex write ms0:/m33-modules when there is flash0. And we get HEN-a-M33 firmware.
 
Davee, when you upload a HEN in internet? In this tuesday?
