Just be patient, asking when it's going to be released won't get the release to come any faster ;)
 
Any suggestion to make it work easier on my PSP-1000?
I tried over 50 times
It hanged for a while and then shut down itself

1. Did you used PHAT.TIFF instead of SLIM.TIFF?
2. Did you have firmware 5.00, 5.01, 5.02, 5.03 or 5.05?

If not exploit will not work, dude!
 
Im just a little confused..Is the HEN being released next Tuesday or will we just being recieving an update about it??

1. yes , I use PHAT.TIFF, and put it on PSP/PHOTO, the "h.bin" put on the root

3. Check ya MagicGate on ya Mem Stick:
Press triangle when on Music - Memory Stick then Information.
And type here what is writed after word MagicGate on ya PSP.

Yes, I ever used it, it also hanged and auto shut down
but your picture can work on my psp-2006

We all know that it works, you need to put a few photos into /PSP/PHOTO. And into /PICTURE

So what happened to Mathiaz? is he still working on this?
Right now hackers who seem to be active in this exploit (active in the discussion) are wololo, davee, freeplay, archaemic o whatever his nick is xD, and mmm I don't remember the others.
Also dark alex hasn't talked about it as far as I know, Fanjita seems to be missing from the scene as well. I'm not saying that they should be, they got their lives but I kinda was expecting them to at least comment about it.
 
I'm already downloading some homebrews and am WAAAY to exited to try apps like PSPtube and Remotejoy (alot others aswell) :w00t:

Davee , YOU are the man! Ignore the peaple that are trying to abuse this HEN to pirate games , there are more then enough peaple that support your idea on not releasing an loader ISO's , and those , that are the real PSP lovers (like me :))
I hope those little beggers(spelled?) wont make you stop developing and keep going!
YOU are developing a HEN for PSP instead of studying for exams , c'mmon peaple , respect him!!

There is a thread on pspgen (I tought) , you should see it , there is only a small amount of peaple that DO want an ISO loader, the rest only wants homebrew !

I could post alot of good reactions , but I guess you already know that they exist ..

Here is about as much info as I have, it used to hang for me until I took these steps:

Put 8 pictures in your folder besides the TIFF (so you have 9 total). When you turn on the PSP, hold left! (The reason is that if you have a UMD in your PSP, after a short while it goes to the game menu and loads up graphics, music, etc. Hold left to get away from that menu right away). Go to the photos on your memory card, wait for all the thumbnails to load, scroll down once, scroll up once, scroll down slowly until "Hello World" pops up. You should start scrolling before the menu icon appears, but just after all thumbnails load. Some steps may be unnecessary, but doing those gives me Hello World 100% of the time.

As for the thing about not letting it load the game menu, credit goes to someone else. I just forget who.
 
The only reason why there aren't a lot of people supporting the running of ISOs anymore is because they already have a psp that is compatible with pandora (therefore can already do it) and want to drive piracy rates down so that poeple can actually buy PSP game (therefore causing actual games to be made).

That's my theory. I think that it's awesome of Davee to release a hen. I also hope it will eventually lead to an ISO loader (to solve my TA-088V3 problem :P)
