Tiff Exploit - HEN Information

will HEN R3 support 5.05 FW ?
I mean the 5.05 that came with UMD and could run TIFF Hello World
not 5.50

or may be other FW versions such as 5.02

Tried to give my psp back to store after updating it to 5.50 with no succeed. Any news for 5.50 chickHEN or anything else ? :)

Can anyone suggest me something and tell me what's wrong? I mean, when i began using this HEN it worked almost everytime, let's say 90% of time. But now it seems to work like only around each 30th time. Is there anything working to make it more stable and work the way it should? Just feels weird that it worked so well at the beginning.

turn off psp(completely)
turn on
go to settings
system information
go back
photos
mem stick
open chickhen folder
wait to load
 
Hi everybody, I would like to test the Hen just for fun on my slim 5.00 m33-6.
Before downgrading to 5.03 I would like to know if I will be able to downgrade from the 5.03 official ? Can we downgrade from all the official firmwares ?

Chickhen work on "jeerum style"
boot up your psp3000
go to photo open chickHen folder and crol down to slimm.tff now quickly press tv button so that screen go black
Now waiting just and if MS led stop plinking wait more 5 sec!
Works me 100%

maybe it works on psp2000 too :)

Your running CFW and can run home brew

but you want to go OFW to run chickHEN
to run Homebrew?

If your PSP is Pandorable, u can downgrade it.

And there's a way to install CFW without Pandora, using ChickHEN, but it only works on Pandorable PSP, so don't try it on PSP3k or Slim TA-88v3.
 
spoofing the firmware version

just a quick query.

If we were to spoof the firmware to such a high version ie 5.91, we could bypass some games necessary firmware check.

has anybody tried spoofing the Firmware to a lower firmware version. ie 1.50. because in theory you could officially downgrade the system to anything from 1.50. BUT it might be alot more complex on the 3000 due to the official release being around 4.21FW.

has there been anyone able to test this?

sony : omfg *upgrades all psp3k's that they sell to 5.50 OFW or latest*

buyer : *buys psp 3k* waaa~!!!! latest version~! i can't use chickhen!
