This is the same results as a few other 2k PSP users get including me, we've found that beta 1 works fine, whilst beta 2 crashes when launcing roms and beta 2 update crashes when trying to launch the emulator.

If you try beta 1 it should work for you.

Try it with ir shell let me find it for you........


1) install IRShell 5.0 as usual (no flash0 patches!) Download here
2) replace /irshell/bin/irshell500s.prx with this one

have you read the release_note.txt included into the irshell zip???

1) Before you can use the Advanced Multi-tasking, you'll need to enable the option "Slim Advanced Multi-tasking" under iR Configurator.

or have you replaced this file /irshell/bin/irshell500s.prx?? if you haven't replace it with this one

can i use a compatible version of irshell on the chickHEN?
i tried some and it says unsupported firmware version detected please poweroff :(
 
We reported yesterday that the PSP-3000 has been unlocked for homebrew applications (but no ISO pirate games). What does that mean? Well, thanks to the ChickHEN homebrew enabler, PSP owners can enjoy some of the interesting programs created for the handheld by independent programmers. There are many useful tools, applications, emulators and games that have been created over the past several years. Because the creators of ChickHEN wanted to keep piracy off of the PSP, they have disabled the firmware functions that would normally allow ISO backups to run. This unfortunately means that some legitimate homebrew is not yet compatible with the system. Most of it is though, and we have a list of all of the great programs that are already confirmed to work with the ChickHEN loader.:D
