Anyone who has been in this scene when Davee came in knows that he does not do anything that even touches piracy (HEN is for homebrew) which is why he stated in his description of the R3 'some' M33 modules, meaning PSX games will not be supported. I can read Davee like a poster on the freeway d(^_._._^)b
 
Can you please honestly tell us that is it posible for ChicHEN R3 to support UMD ISO and PSX images?
And is it gonna release soon?

Davee said that he will NEVER ever ever ever make a iso\cso\psx loader so your only hope would be that someone else will make one

so the answer is no not unless some other person makes a loader

and it will be released when its finished so don't ask

No... Although that tool is a major breakthrough, it doesn't add anything productive for the time being. Reversing things by hand remains way more effective, not only in making it compileable, but also making it much more readable. Aside from some occasions where it helped me out quite a bit, in most cases doing this work by hand remains way more effective. Not only does the tool create non-compileable code, the readability of it is far worse than one reversed by hand. There's things that simply can't be automated. I doubt an auto-reversing tool will ever be able to produce clean, compileable, readable code, unless it at least takes a certainth degree of human input.

Anyhow, it's still a nice breakthrough and can help speed up the understanding of small things, but in general this can't be applied to anything big and does nothing that couldn't already have been done. :)

Flash is essentially where the operating system of the psp is stored. Since you can't normally get to those files, they have a flash dumper to dump and disassemble it.

The decompiler kinda decompiles the stuff to source code or asm or something rather, I've never been able to use it.

Hey for those of you who want iso support and have a V3 motherboard there is news for you guys (im not included since i have a 3K and am not to interested in isos, i do want psx though), recently a new app for HEN was released that will alow you guys to have temp CFW untell you reboot. IT DOES include iso support and runs at normal speeds. Also it flashes some things to your flash however it doesn't overwrite any files so it will not cause a brick when you reboot. It uses M33 modules however is not devoloped by alex as far i know. So V3 now has iso and plugins (i think plugins im not sure i cant test it right now since my friend and his V3 just left my house 15 min ago) support.

I would like to play PSX games on my PSP but with the HEN the PSP I have (3000) does everything I need I could care less about all the other stuff that CFW can do. Thank You for the HEN
 
i need to get to flash 0 so i can manualy replace a gameboot.pmf file.. i tryed using one with gamebootflasher and everytime i load a homebrew it freezes at psp logo.. it give me a black square at the top left, makes funy noises and it hangs and it shuts off the psp.. i cant load pspfiler or any homebrew at all at this point .. im stuck untill some dev makes a program like vsh menu to toggle through flash zero recovery mode like the m33's vsh menu to toggle through flash 0 so when i load a usb it goes into flash 0. is there a way into geting into flah 0 with out having to use pspfiler or any type of program.. i cant load homebrew. is it impossible to add a flash 0 toggle recovey with hen so i dont have to use programs to get to f0. i need to change gameboot.pmf.. thats whats causing the problem... or is recovery menu possible at this point?
