Hi x3sphere,
Had followed all the instructions & successfully created a MMS. However when i converted my batt into pandora and try to boot up my PSP while holding UP button on the d-pad, nothing happened. What i can see is that's only green light on & de LCD light is on as well but nothing shown as per quote on 1st page
"2. You will be presented with a menu telling you to press X to install 3.90 M33 Press X."
Qn: Is my psp bricked? followed the steps to create the MMS everything is fine. Do i need to find another normal batt to boot it up to XMA & redo the steps again to create MMS & try to boot it back to normal batt? I've tried finding answer through NOOB faq but cant find any issue close to mine
System before error:
CFW: 4.01M33-2. Batt is SONY 3.6v 1200, Hellcat; Time machine; DC v5; 1.50,3.40,3.90 Eboot all stored in the MMS - created MMS successfully.
MS is a Scandisk 4GD
Your attention is very much appreciated!!!! Thank you!!
Sorry to flood the thread for nothing guys!!!
Issue solved after i came to the thread on Ultimate Pandora's Tool v4.3 & came upon this
Note 1
If you already own a Pandora battery and memory stick without the multi-boot function you must remove your battery and plug in the AC cable, but the memory stick can remain inserted.
so i tried to boot my psp using AC without the batt & boomm!!! i see what im dying for!!! MY XMB!! haha!!
Well the rest is history.. put the batt back & convert back to normal batt..
However when i convert back to normal batt, repeat the step for making a MMS, at the step when i have to press X to install 1.50 firmware there's a error showing ERROR WHILE INITIALIZING: 0x8ca10002 and hangs there.
I reboot my psp and back to hellcat application. It shows my current serial battery serial: 0x90ca0815
I remembered my batt serial number should be 0x8ca10002
does that means my batt serial number had been overwrite accidently? How can i resolve this error?
Fyi i can use boot my psp back to normal & play.
