Apple tried to stop people from running unsigned code on devices using the iPhone OS twice now and failed miserably twice so it (iPod Touch 3rd Gen) will probably be able to be Jailbroken as well...

That was actually very laughable considering they were all jailbroken in under a month.

Failed horribly? The dev team couldn't even find an exploit for the 2G on their own and someone else found it and they ran off it.

Depending on how the price conversion goes down in the UK I may consider a purchase.

Well I am disappointed about no major revision of the iPod Touch.
I do like the 64GB option and the new processor speed.

But I think I'm going to buy a Nano now, it has a video camera now.
