Freeplay leaking an exploit that isn't his

I already contacted a friend work in the past for SCE (but fireup, don't ask me why)
this information is real, this is why i told Freeplay sell itself...
Apparently is not the first time from this guy...
For the PS3 too, about the BD-J exploit...

im pretty sure freeplay wouldn't stoop that low... are you sure your friend couldn't be lying?
How much you know Freeplay ?... (i don't know ever, but i talk with in the past, i don't think so is really like the community)
Concerning my friend is not that kidding person.
Check about the fix exploit BD-J on PS3.

'Stealing' this exploit would've been hacking into Fanjita's server, planting an authentication file for my PC in it, then bruteforcing paths on the SVN server until I got something.
What happened was that I was given access to the server and I looked at what was there.

The mercury exploit was fixed in firmware 6.20. THAT is the ONLY reason I released it. Are you really going to be that hypocritical?
Again, this is a lie. When we were working on the Gripshift exploit, he set up an SVN repository on his server, and gave me a path to the SVN browser on the web. There was no "trying tons of different urls". It was in plain sight, right there when I opened the link he sent me.
Really? How should it have been obvious? He gave me access to a restricted SVN and didn't say anything about not accessing what was on it. Not a word. I assumed that he wanted to give me access to those things. You don't give someone a key to your house if you don't want them to be able to see what's in plain view inside.

If you gave someone a key to your house that you trusted, and they made photo copies of your social security info (Wherever it might be) does that give you the right to publish it and then say they wanted you to do it? Same concept.

Except that publishing this was absolutely harmless. To extend your metaphor, I've written a social security number on a billboard after the government switched to a new system of tracking social security.

I'm with FreePlay on this on, he has no reason to steal anything. The man is good enough to do his own work, the exploit was patched and then after he released, the way Math was saying it made it seem like FreePlay released the exploit then Sony patched it.
Their is no harm in releasing this. Making a big deal out of nothing. Sony patched it before the exploit was released, so either way this exploit would have been useless.
If anything fanjita should be blamed for making the mistake of having such important work able to be viewed.
