• Steam recently changed the default privacy settings for all users. This may impact tracking. Ensure your profile has the correct settings by following the guide on our forums.

Guide: How to Disable Privacy Settings on Origin, Steam, Xbox Live, PSN

Is your gamercard not showing your games/achievements or displaying out of date information? This is likely because you have privacy enabled on either Origin, Steam, Xbox Live, or PSN. Since these questions have been asked a few times before, here's a quick guide on how to modify your profile settings and enjoy uninterrupted tracking.

Note that the site is not immediately notified of any changes in privacy settings - you will either need to wait until the next profile scan or request a manual sync. Requesting a manual sync can be done from the Account page under Tools.

Stadia

  1. While logged in to Stadia at https://stadia.google.com/, navigate to Stadia settings -> Friends & privacy
  2. Under the Friends & privacy section, make sure the following setting - "See your games and achievements" is set to "All Players"
  3. And that's it, you should be able to link your account to the site now. Make sure to enter the full username, including the # sign and any digits that follow it.

GOG
  1. While logged in on the GOG home page, hover over your username in the top navigation and click "Privacy & Settings"
  2. Ensure the visibility of both your profile and game library is set to "ALL VISITORS"
  3. Additionally, make sure the Profile enabled box is checked if it isn't already
  4. If you are still having issues, a screenshot is included below with the exact settings you should have enabled for proper tracking
Screenshot from 2018-09-02 14-20-38.png

Google Play
  1. Open up the Play Games app on your phone
  2. Tap the menu icon at the top right corner of the screen and go to Settings. From here, make sure "Public gamer profile" is turned on
  3. Additionally, from your profile page in the app, click the Edit icon and ensure a Gamer ID is set and the option "Allow other players to see my game activity" is turned on. The Gamer ID is the only information you'll need to enter here to have your profile tracked properly.
  4. Some screenshots are included below that show exactly what options need to be enabled in case you are still having issues.
  5. If you're having difficulties with the site finding your profile, make sure you are entering in your Gamer ID that's set within the Play Games app, not your Google account email.

Origin

1. In Origin, click on your name in the bottom left, click show profile.
2. Click the orange button saying "edit on ea.com"
3. On the EA page, make sure your privacy is set to "everyone"
4. Make sure the Achievements and Origin Points boxed is ticked.
5. Click Save.

Steam

1. Navigate to Edit Profile on your Steam Community page
2. Ensure that a custom URL is set, as shown in the screenshot below. This should be the username you are sending us when creating a gamercard.

3. Again on the same page, navigate to My Privacy Settings and ensure that My profile and Game Details are set to Public, as shown in the screenshot below.

Additionally, ensure that the checkbox that says "Always keep my total playtime private even if users can see my game details" is NOT CHECKED - we need playtime data visible to track your profile properly.

4. That's it, your Steam profile should be accessible by our scanners now.

Xbox Live

1. Navigate to Privacy Settings from your main profile page on Xbox.com

2. There are a lot of options here, but the main settings you need to set under 'Others can' are below. Make sure other users can see your Xbox profile and see your game and app history.

3. That's it, your Xbox profile should be accessible by our scanners now.

PSN

1. Navigate to the PSN tab under settings. From here, select Privacy Settings and then Trophies. You should see this screen:

2. Select Anyone then hit confirmed. Also make sure you aren't excluding any specific games (unless you don't want us to track those).

3. That's it, your PSN profile should be accessible by our scanners now.

Overwatch

1. Open up the game client, navigate to the Options tab, and from there click "Social.”

2. Under the Social tab, there’s an option for "Career Profile Visibility" -- set this to Public, as shown in the screenshot below.

3. Once the correct option is chosen, close the menu and your settings will be saved. This will allow our scanners to see your profile.

2. There are a lot of options here, but the main settings you need to set under 'Others can' are below. Make sure other users can see your Xbox profile and see your game and app history.

Q: I've changed my privacy settings, yet the site still has my profile marked as private.

This is normal, the site is not immediately notified of such changes. You will either need to wait until your profile is re-scanned (can take up to 4-6 hours) OR go to Edit Profile and click Save Settings to initiate a manual rescan.

Q: I've followed all the steps, yet still experience tracking issues.

Let us know in the feedback forum.

Hi,

I'm new at the site and I don't know if ALL my games from G.O.G. appears on my profile (also these that I've never played).
In the opposite way... only 2 games from STEAM appears...
Can I do something to make only the games I've played from GOG appears and all the games I've played on STEAM appears as well?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You could always enable the hide games with no playtime option to remove the GOG games you've never played. Another option is to hide them individually (click the Edit icon when hovering over a game).

Your Steam profile seems to be up to date now.

Thank you very much for the quick answer.

I've founded yesterday the "hide games with no playtime" option in the settings, but it doesn't seem to work.
However, I've made it work (more or less) selecting these options :

Hiding all the games with no achievements, and now the list is more or less true :)
I think the problem is, the tracker takes ALL the games from the GOG library as played.

For the Steam games the list is correct now!!!! 😍

Thanks again for your fast support and congratulations for the site, it's great!!!!

Cheers

Haven't changed anything but I'm guessing it updated now? The gamertag here is matching the one shown on Xbox.

(EDIT: Problem solved... Made a mistake... sorry)

I had removed my Stadia-account for some days here on this site and want to add it again... But it seems there are some privacy problems, even though everything on stadia site is on public. Could you please check, if there is a problem? My Stadia name is Cozybear#1259.

Thank you and stay healthy... 😷

There's no "public gamer profile" option on Google Play anymore, only "Allow other players to see my game activity", but it still shows my profile as hidden.

Have you tried checking "Let others see your game activity" ? It seems they've renamed some of the options recently, I'll update my screenshots soon.

Yes, it was already enabled.

The only thing I changed was "Let others find your profile using your email address" and it's working now. :)

Mine stopped working with steam feb.6 th. very annoying. I keep refreshing and no luck. suggestions?
Huh? I Just checked, it's up to date as far as I can tell. The scan does take some time to complete. Check your sorting setting as you may be seeing it in percentage completion rating, which would show your 100% games first. (Your last 100% game was Feb 6.)

Tnx for reply. I just figured it out today: it was the check for hide hours played thing.

Hi there. I've just signed up today and been through and updated my privacy settings on all platforms, but Blizzard, Stadia, Steam and PSN are still being shown as private on my Exophase profile. I've tried unlinking and relinking again.

Also, I've noticed on my Stadia username the # keeps changing itself to a dash whenever I hit save.

Thanks in advance. Hope to hear from you soon.

Your Stadia and Steam data seems to be showing up for me.

As for Blizzard, what games have you played? Nothing is showing up for WoW, SC2, or Overwatch.

You might need to sign in to WoW again if you haven't played in awhile then sign-out and try re-linking your account here. After major WoW updates Blizzard tends to remove access to inactive character data. Signing in and out of WoW forces an update to their profile API.

Hi. Thanks for getting back to me. Yeah, Stadia, PSN and Steam managed to sync up. I've been playing Modern Warfare regularly through Blizzard's launcher.

Battle.net works a bit differently than the other services, each game is sort of it's own platform. So we can only track the games Blizzard gives us access to. Right now only WoW, SC2, and Overwatch are trackable. This may change in the future but will be up to Blizzard.

Maybe if the Call of Duty site displayed the achievements on a public page we could pull them from there, but I don't think something like that exists either, they are only shown in-game as far as I know.
