Team Fortress 2: The Sniper

Day 2 is Payload Race! And it's on a new map, Pipeline, with what seems to be a night setting. 2 new Arena maps also lined up for Arena fanatics like me. This was originally Scout Update material, if memory serves correctly, so could we be seeing ANOTHER gamemode?

I don't think we'll know how that weapon works until it is released.

Does anybody know when this whole thing will be released?

So anyone will have the ability to use any weapon now?
I don't know exactly how I feel about that

I sincerly doubt that. A scout running around with natascha isn't exactly part of the whole class-based balance of TF2 VALVe was aiming for.

I meant somebody who just started playing TF2 will be able to use natascha with the Heavy right from the start, instead of having to get achievements to unlock it like it has been for the past 4 updates

Sorry if I didn't make that clear the first time

Third addition :D

Team Fortress 2 - The Sniper Update

The Razorback

The Razorback is a beautiful hand-carved tribal shield, built using indigenous techniques passed from father to son since before recorded time. Sometimes the old ways really are the best ways. And after using the Razorback in the field, we quickly discovered this was not one of those times.

All the tribal craftsmanship in the world, it turns out, cannot stop a modern butter knife. So we taped a car battery to it. Sure, the added weight of the redesigned Razorback’ll slow you down a little. But any poor sap dumb enough to backstab you while you’re sporting one is getting a surprise to the tune of 10,000 volts. Plus, if they want to stab you again, they’ll have to wait until their knife cools down. Which is lucky for you, since the Razorback collapses into a million finely crafted pieces after a single stab.

I expected some sort of anti spy unlock, this sounds pretty cool though.

Yikes, VALVe really doesen't like the spy... Which is sad, becase that was how i was going to deal with the influx of snipers... oh well. Seems like a good idea for me though, I rarely use the SMG, so it'll be a good unlock.

I am curious on how VALVe is going to go about acquiring these new weapons, they're decoupling the achievements and the unlocks, so I really want to know how it's going to work.

LOL. Sorry about that. My Fault :P.

/me claps slowly in awe
That was amazing. The forums must be in uproar about this. SteamPowered's forums thought this might have happened with the scout, but... Absolute brilliance.

FINALLY.

I retract my previous statement, these new wathces are AWESOME.

:w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t:

Also, I think there might be some hints to the next line of clothing unlocks. Anyone notice the Crab-Walking Kit?

<3 VALVe

EDIT: Now all the previous days are under the /spyupdate/ directory. hmmmmmmm.

Do you know what in-jokes are?

Yes I do.When I was referring to the clothing unlocks, I was taking about the cape, etc, not that. I should have seperated the crab-walking thing from my previous point (I know about the spycrab). It was an added bit I put in.
