What phone do you use?

I got a Galaxy S 2 as well. It's by far the best phone I've ever seen. It's even faster than the iPhone 4. Aside from the games, there's no reason to use iOS anymore.

You can actually do shit like forcing 4xAA or 16xAA on a per application basis just like a PC!! Makes everything look UBER SMOOTH. You can even play the Tegra 2 exclusive games by installing a custom OpenGL driver (Chainfire3D) and the nVidia plugin.

Headphone quality is utter garbage though. Not even remotely close to the iPhone 4's flawless sound quality.

Make sure you install SPB Shell 3D. It's the BEST launcher ever.

Uhhh what. iPhone's have pretty poor audio hardware, the SGS II is on par if not better (unless samsung put some gay equalizer on). Not sure why Samsung didnt stick with Wolfson, the audio quality on the SGS I is phenomenal with Voodoo Sound.

Also screw SPB Shell, its extremely cpu and battery hungry, the interface is nothing special as well. ADW EX is still by far the best launcher out there.

Not sure if I can be bothered with a launcher app :p

Any must have apps/games?

I find Android's own launcher (I have an MUIU ROM installed on my SGS1, although it's launcher is just a modded default launcher) to be the most efficient and effective. All the others have too many fancy options and visuals that just get in the way.

The iPhone 4 in particular has the best audio quality of any phone ever made. It completely outclasses everything else. The frequency response is perfectly flat and doesn't change with or without load. The SGS2 cannot drive my Image X10 at all. There is absolutely no low frequency sound below a point. The difference is night and day when swapping the headphones between the two.

The original Galaxy S is still better, that review just doesn't use the alternative Voodoo sound drivers for it.

There is no Voodoo driver for the S2. The S2 has a really crappy Yamaha DAC, which is ACTUALLY crappy. Not a misconfigured Wolfson DAC like the original Galaxy S.

I just got the FiiO E11 and it's greatly improved the SQ on the SGS2. The very low frequencies that were completely missing before are now restored and my music collection sounds familiar again. The SGS2 does indeed have a different frequency response depending on the impedance attached to it, as mentioned in the GSM Arena review. In other words, the headphone output is garbage while output to an amp is fine.

Also, it no longer struggles to produce both heavy bass and treble at the same time. Previously there was noticeable frequency capping ocurring with each beat.

I upgraded to the iphone 4s a little while back I love somethings and hate some... I hate the amount of attention I get when I pull it out with friends. Like O you got a Iphone ? How did you get the phone? Bah bah bah it like it never ends, it like walking around with my Dr.dre beats I get asked the same ? by random strangers. Others thing I hate,
-I have to use a case and alot of cases mess with the flash :( and it really fragile compared to my epic 4g..
- Really small sccreen size
- I hate seeing so many people with the same white Iphone
- Simple things like the uploading photos to facebook from the photo app. Or The Popout quick replys for texts.
- Battery life is great one day or really sucks the next day I really dont understand it..
- Itunes still really sucks
-There no setttings for the video 1080p takes up alot of space on my 16gb Iphone.
Things I love

-The Apps just feel smoother and all around better.
-The Camera is just wonderful( Tho chould be better in the dark) and the photostream/ichould download it right to my Dropbox. So No more downloading photos to my pc is a wonderful feeling.
-Shake to Shuffle is really nice to have when you are wearing gloves or your other hand is just busy doing something else.
- Imessage is pretty nice, way better then group text...
-Ipod cables and docks are cheap like mini usb so I can have a buch of these cables almost anywhere.
-the phone feels really good in your hands...
-Airplays is wonderful, I can stream alot of videos to my tv and itunes remote is pretty nice as well.. I use it almost every day.
-Wifi and GPs feel alot more stable then any android I have ever used.
-Quick change is wonderful way better and faster then my Epic slow changer.
- really nice useing the Iphone in your car with steering wheel controls
-Siri nice but useless...

New phone :)

Loving it so far, screen isn't too big for me (even with my small hands)
Nice man. I really want one but couldn't justify it at this time... $299 is kind of steep on contract, wish VZW had a cheaper 16GB variant since I don't need 32GB.

Yeah the price is fairly steep and doesnt offer too much over other phones to justify the purchase. Ice cream sandwich sure is nice though

EDIT: 4G is nice though. Although I only have 4G access when near the casino, hoping my area gets coverage sometime next year

Picked up a new phone last week, HTC Raider

After years of waiting, I'm finally aboard the touch-screen bandwagon. It's taking me a while to get used to the typing, but I'm loving the phone in general so far. There's so much to do

Will be getting this friday any draw backs?
I love the phone. I wish the notification light was used more by the phone, the camera quality isn't so hot and I wish the speaker was a little bit louder. All minor complaints overall though.

Volume +
and Light flow

The only thing keeping me from jizzing in my pants are the the on screen buttons are they any hassle compared to other phones?
I've already installed both of those but lightflow is seriously inconsistent. Volume + is nice but I'd rather not blow out my speaker or take any chances

In regards to the zoftware buttons: they are 0 haae and work great.
