Glimmer of hope yet:

The recent release was quite a large update and reqired a complete overhaul of the Action Replay code engine. The engineers felt that a complete reinstall was necessary.

Since we have not be informed otherwise, smaller updates may be avaialble via web browser in the future.

Hello! "I am French"
I have a PSP Go at 6.70 OFW.
When you play "Jap Lumines II Demo" game and, at a certain time you push the Home button and directly launch the "Savestate O button" (because it's Jap), (it's very rare but sometimes it happens), the PSP doesn't return on the XMB menu. Only a black screen appears, and sometimes, the PSP is shutting down after a few seconds.
One day I discovered that a "K" folder has magically been created after that, next to the eboot of this game. What does it mean?

That's what I wanted to say.
I am a little bit lost, but it's the beginning...
So, in fact, The "Lumines II PSP Go savestate thing" means nothing?
Or perhaps, you have to take the time to test it?
Bye.

It's just a crash, likely timing issues, no nothing wild.
The "K" folder might've been created by a virus or corrupted explorer session from your PC.

sorry to ask this, but the thread is just too long..
Is there any hope in this AR? Will it lead to an exploit or something similar?

It no less than Sony encrypting a cheat device themselves. The only REAL good news out of this is that someone else figured out the crypto engine, kirk :)

The only thing we can hope is that Datel takes it to the next level with a homebrew loader or something similar in mind.

Hi, I'm a newbie about psp hacking.
Can GripShift exploit + Sparta SDK: 1.52-5.02 halp to found a way to create a cfw for 6.20 ofw psp? I've found also Star Crypt , a Datel Action Replay Decode Engine on Youtube, but I don't know if it's a fake or not.

No. Exploit is already blocked.

Of course we can, there's absolutely no reason why we cant. We just need to reverse the verification procedure.

The only way datel could prevent us from creating license files is by signing them with kirk, stupid that they didn't.

edit: removed my link, no use for it now :/

IIRC that hashing is asymetric, i.e. keys for en- and decryption are different.
So there is REALLY no way to create any kind of "keygen" as the internal keys used to verify the license can't be used to create/sign it as they are not the same.

Again this proves: Datel is NOT amateurs, they really know what they're doing :D
