Multi Modern Warfare 2

I haven't used my 360 in about 5 months, but I guarantee I will be plugging it back in for this game. Looks absolutely fantastic. Cannot wait. :D
 
I thought COD4 was a letdown from the infinitely spawning enemies and lack of co-op. They fixed one...I don't know, I'll probably stick to rainbow 6 vegas 2

I know it's from an official source, but it looks terribly fake. It does look better though, just "Modern Warfare 2" looked plain.

Activision probably negotiated to stick the name back in there to generate more sales, and etc.

Really? You don't think that box-art could pass for a generic, third-rate war game?

People remember the first game as Call of Duty 4/COD4, not "Modern Warfare". When you sell 10 million copies of a game, you should do everything possible to maintain a link between it, and it's sequel.

For a game with such wide appeal, you can bet there's a lot of people who played that game, and probably don't play many others, and definitely don't follow games like us.

It just doesn't make sense not to have the Call of Duty name on the box, especially since WAW did so well.

Honestly, I bet they took the name "Call of Duty" off the box, expecting WAW to either be a flop critically, or commercially. It was neither, so there's no reason not to restore the name.
 
Maybe because this game is the first sequel to an actual game in the series, rather than another game about WW2.

Even so, it still feels as if they eventually want to break Modern Warfare away the CoD name. Look how small it is on the box, it's not all big and gaudy like it usually is.

I know, they do want to break it free, and I think it's a stupid idea.

Honestly, I think IW is just getting a whiff of their own shit, and don't like what Treyarch is doing with the franchise, and wants to disassociate the "MW" products from theirs... And I think Activision is saying "Are you fucking stupid? Put it on the box, we're trying to make money".
 
These apparently are the prestige badges, what do you guys think? (Sorry if this has been mentioned before)
