Now we just have to pay someone at Datel if we want our homebrew to get signed
That's an impressive job
exactly what i was thinking. somebody go and infiltrate their lab.Just write up a quick EBOOT BIN loader and have them sign it. Thats all we would need![]()
so they have a kirk decryption engine? they must have decrypted the kirk then?:scared: or maybe that's just a web page use for ads flavor only.
That pic also shows a Tab browsing Maxconsole website if you look closely.
"Max Me..."
Leads me to think Max Memory.
That star is the Maxconsole website icon, but yea the page is probably a story about their product.
Or there is a chance we can use this to find exploit on FW or in the actual AR (athough forcing people to buy AR to run homebrew isn't the right approach, apparentlyProbably not much. I guess the best we could do is reverse their cheat code format so that we can write our own codes, thereby being able to write arbritrary values to arbritrary mem.

You don't expect them to figure out the encryption mechanism of the PSP and be dumb enough to not put some kind of security on the EBOOT, do you?Couldy~do you think you could...*cough* upload *cough* the eboot perhaps? Or be a pal and PM me?

I'm convinced the eboot will run in "Demo" mode on a psp for which it hasn't been "validated".
The licence key probably only works for one PSP too. People who bought it could maybe confirm that.
Bottom line: download the demo, it'll probably work the same for you.
You can have all the eboot you want.. Because you need to activate by sending you PSP IP Number and SN back to Datel.. The License is tied to what ever PSP you used to activate.. I know because I have 3 types of PSP 1001, 2001 and 3001.... When you activate the license to your PSP that is it no one else can use it.. This is not some lame eboot file.. Hell people tried to do that with the old version of the Action replay and got no where.. I can tell you right now no one going to get this to work outside of paying for it from Datel..
The old PSP Action Replay wasn't actually tied to a particular PSP the only reason most people couldn't get the old PSP Action Replay work is because (1) it requires OFW and (2) most of the PSPAR dumps which people uploaded on the internet didn't have a dump of the IPL from the MS. If both of those conditions were met it would run on any PSP-1000/early 2000 with a Pandora battery and compatible firmware.
